Joining the Navy

Active-Duty enlistment in the Navy means you'll become a full-time soldier. Enlistment cash bonuses are available with certain jobs.

To enlist, you must be:

Between the ages of 17 and 34

A U.S. citizen or registered alien

Healthy and in good physical condition
